Converse good for skating?

Would converse be good to skateboard in? i have a style of vans that are very similar to them but are converse good?

converse and Vans and literally the only two shoes i wear. i have skated in both but i find my high-tops to be harder to flip with. Vans are the best to skate in.

I read in transworld skateboarding magazine that converse can be good. High-Tops support your ankles while skating. So if you were to fall, and did something to your ankle I honestly think that it protect your ankle a bit.

converse are bad for skating they have no grip or support for skating you can get hurt trying to use them

I see converse as a girly type shoe. Unless you are going for the high-tops which I think are sorta ugly.

No, that would be a big no no. The grip tape of the board tears up converses. Resulting in no grip on the bottom and enormous tears and holes everywhere. Vans are better skating shoes but still have these cons they will just last longer than converses. I prefer Lakai, Emerica, and Nike SB (no 6.0).

they might of course i not allowed to but i think they would. o yeah DONT buy the cheap onesd they go real fast that happened to me till i bought the 60 dollar ones
