I've recently bought Panasonic PV-GS150 camcorder and while searching Amazon I've stumbled upon Kenko 2x Telephoto Conversion Lens. I realize that having this lens I'd get more into my picture, but does it help the quality of picture as well? Its sharpness, more light to come through? What else would it help with? Thank you.

  1. first of all i dont think a telephoto lens would get more into the picture. on the contrary it would magnify your image. a wide lens would get more of the picture into your camera. generally a conversion lens would degrade a little of the picture. it will also let in less light. hence dimmer picture, but your camera has ways of compensating this. generally this telephoto lens is ok because it will let you shoot farther subjects but use it with discretion

  2. It will degrade the quality - you can't improve it by adding a lens.
