Conversion of audio tapes to CD?

i have audio cassets with very old songs. how can i transfer them to CD with the help of cpu/monitor

  1. Yes, you can.  You use a cassette deck, plug the line out of it to the line in jack on your computer, and use Sound Recorder to record it onto you hard drive.  When you get that done you can burn a CD.  I did several of my old cassettes of interviews with my grandparents who have since passed away.  Sound Recorder is part of Windows.  Go:  Start-all programs-accessories-entertainment-sound recorder.
