  1. it depends upon the density of your solution.

  2. This equasion cannot be answered without knowing how many mg per ml there are of the drug in question.

    Email me

  3. Be careful to check how much mg of medicine there is per ml.

They are not the same, one is weight, the other is volume.

So it is the mg diluted in ml and is not unity.

  4. It is possible to determine that only if you know the density.

A milliliter of mercury weighs much more than a millimeter of water...yet they have the same volume...so knowing the volume in ml does not indicate weight in mg. Just because it is liquid, does not mean it has no weight. You should find a dosage on the label  or weigh quantities of the liquid until you determine what is 100mg.

However, pure CO Q10 has a density of .31g/ml, therefore IF (a big IF) what you have is 99% pure 100mg = 3.1 ml .

Compute according to the purity of the product you have.

  5. it depends on the density of whatever you are taking, ml and mg are unrelated measurements since ml refers to volume and mg refers to mass

  6. mg (milligram) and ml( milliliter) is of different measure. The first is weight while the latter is volume. In mathematics, you you will know the equivalent if you know the density of the liquid. Don't take chances. Verify that to your doctor or read the pamphlet that goes with the medicine.

  7. 100mg is the same as 100ml

  8. When measuring volume, 1 gram = 1 ml.  1000 mg = 1 gram or 1 ml. So 100 mg would be 1/100 or .01 gm or .01 ml.

  9. Use this formula to calculate a dosage in liquid medication:

Stock Required divided by Stock Strength multiplied by Volume.

    SR/SSxV=DOSE

For example, if your medication (as it was supplied) was 500mg in 100ml of fluid: Stock Required (100mg) divided by Stock Strength (500mg) multiplied by Volume (100ml) equals 20ml.

You could break it down another way and say 500mg/100ml= 5mg/ml, 100mg/5=20ml

This webpage has a calculator for oral liquid medications, but calls it dose ordered and dose available: http://www.manuelsweb.com/dose.htm

Be careful taking any medication if there are no instructions provided by your physician or pharmacist, hope this helps.
