Convert DVD area?

Question

My DVD has an different area code to the one I am now. How can I change it and then make a copy? Please plane english...I am no PC wiz...hehehehe

I'm not sure you can change the region code on DVDs.

I researched it a little more today and no you can't change the region code on DVDs. But you can buy DVDs with a region code of "0". That means they will  work every ware and in all DVD players.

There is a solution:

1. Copy your DVD onto pc with Decrypter ,which can break the area protection.

2.Burn the copy to a blank dvd disc. The new one would have no area protection.

Guide for DVD to DVD copy

Only one burner (DVD±RW drive) needed on your PC:

Note: Be sure that the size of the blank disc is the same with or larger than the original disc.

step1. Run the software, insert original DVD disc into the burner and you can learn about the information on the main interface.

Step2. Set the DVD burner as both source and destination.
