Convert footsteps into meters

i walked 560 steps to a building site. i want to know how many meters i walked to reach the site. can someone help me? my height is 168 cms

Well, it would have been more useful had you measured your stride instead. However, assuming 0.5 m per step, that would be 280 m distance.

try to remember how fast/hurried you walked

measure a set distance (suggested 10 feet) on the ground, mark it

count your steps as you walk the 10 feet in the same fashion you walked to the building site

calculate:

(10 divided by step number) times 560
