Converter box question???

Ok I was wondering if you hook up an converter box now will it work now or will it only work in 2009, I live in the Oklahoma area if that affects anything?

Almost all stations have their digital transmitters on the air already.  You should pick up all the channels and more as the digital system will support up to 4 program streams.
