Question:

Convertible car seat suggestions?

My daughter is 6 months old, and is getting close to the "ends" of her infant car seat, so we are starting to shop around for a new car seat in the next size up.

The problem is that we are relatively short on cash, and I drive a 1991 Honda Accord (The main reason we're short on cash right now is because we're ready for a new vehicle that is more mommy/baby friendly... Although not a minivan, probably a "crossover" of some sort or an SUV). Anyway, we are going to need the new car seat before we get a new vehicle.

What kind of convertible car seat do you use? Any suggestions on a lower-priced (I'm thinking around $170 at the absolute most) car seat that is high-quality, comfortable and compact enough to fit in my incredibly small back seat?

Thanks in advance :)

  1. I'm really happy with my Safety 1st convertible carseat... and it fits just fine in my 2 door 1996 Honda Civic, so it will fit fine in your Accord.

  2. graco makes nice car seats. they are priced resonable most a rated very well and they can fit in a small car. they carry graco products at target and walmrt babies r us.

  3. I bought the Evenflo Titan for 80.00 at Target over a year ago. And I love it! My son is comfortable in it, it is washable and it was absolutely affordable.

It will hold a child up to 50 lbs. I will end up buying one more for my next child.  I found it easy to use and It does come with the latch system if your car has the option.

The Evenflo Triumph is the step up from the one I own. That one is awesome! It reclines and you can adjust the straps from the front and not have to pull the seat out of the car. The only reason I did not buy that one is because it is much wider and I could not fit 2 other car seats beside that one. this one costs about 140$

I would say either one is totally worth the money.
