Convertible question?

I am looking to buy a used convertible with automatic transmission, like 1981 and later. my spending limit is about 10'000.00. however i am hoping to find one with a decent sized backseat, where a normal sized person can actually sit, and most convertibles dont have this. any recomendations?

you could find a 1988-1994 chevy cavalier Z24 convertible.  find one in very good shape.  Very reliable and pretty fast.  I lost only 25% of the time racing cars on the road and it has a decent back seat.

mustangs aren't bad

That's almost non-existent just by design.  The Chrysler Sebring is the clossest you'll find but they aren't very reliable.
