Converting 12volts to 30 watts?

I have an guitar ampfliier that i would like to run inside a car...to act as a sub and amp...I know how to wire it and everything...i just need to know where i can find a power convert to convert 12 volts from the battery to 30 watts to power the amp...

You are talking about two different things volts and watts. Its easier to compare them with water, than Trying to explain the electrical side. Volts would be the quantity you have in the tank. Watts would be the power needed to run the tap. You cannot convert one to the other.

What you need to find out is the voltage required by the guitar, you can then get a converter to convert this voltage to the 12 volts in the car.

If they are both 12 volt then you will not need to convert.
