Converting Canon L2 analog hi 8 to Pinnacle 11 software?

Anyone using pinnacle moviebox plus with pinnacle 11 to load Hi 8 analog format? I'm running vista home premium, have 3 gigs rom but still cant seem to capture. Read the tutorial over and over. Does this combination work for anyone out there?

  1. Plug in the RCA cables to pinnacle RCA hardware. Play the Hi-8 tape and start to record.
