  1. I use Any Video converter software .. Google the title

    Any Video Converter

  2. try total video2dvd author,

    1. Click "New Project", add video files,

    2. Click "Dvd Menu", view dvd menu,

    3. Click "Output", Click "Convert & Burn" output.

    features:

    1. Easliy convert avi or other popurlar video (such as flv, divx, xivd, avi, wmv, mkv, rm, rmvb, 3gp, mp4, mov, ts, ogm, etc.) to DVD or ISO image file.

    2. Supports subtitles(srt, sub, idx, ssa, ***, smi, etc.), and multi-subtitle track.

    3. Download youtube video or other video share website video, and burn it to dvd.

    4. Supports DVD menu with background.

    5. supports photo slideshow to DVD.

    you can download it FREE:

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=tot...

  3. You can convert to MPEG-2 and burn the DVD with DVD Flick - it's free!  If you've 120 minutes of raw video it's going to need editing first - you can use Windows Movie Maker to do that.

  4. captured Dv is normally in avi format, there are many prog that can do this such as Nero (www.nero.com) it will convert it to a format that is compatible for DVDs the actual size of the file doesn't matter, its the length. Avi is not compressed and the files are huge as you have found out.

There is other software on the market, but i have used this and never had any trouble with it

    good luck
