Converting US to UK sizes?

Question

I want to buy some things from ASOS, but I know nothing about UK sizing. I would use their size chart, but I don't have a tape measurer...

I'm a smallish medium in tops, and a size 2 in bottoms. In US sizes, that is. What would this make me in UK?

also, are the shoe sizes different... if so, what would I be if I'm a 6 in US sizes?

Hi Cherri - I'm British and also size 2 in US. You would be a 10 in Britain (I know, trust me!).  In shoe sizes a 7 US is the same as a 38 European or a 5 British so you'd be less than that.
