Converting VHS tapes to DVD?

Question

any place you know of where i can do this?

like some store i can give my tapes and they will make it into DVDs?

or a machine i can buy?

or anything?

presume you have a DVD and a video. buy a scart lead (euro lead) connect the scart to the socket on the video and the other end to the DVD. put tape in video , press play and at the same time record on the DVD (DVD set to record on Au ore av)

I have a VCR--DVD combo ! To copy a VHS tape to DVD all I have to do is put the tape to copy in VCR then put a blank DVD+ in and press copy on the remote control ! It's as easy as that !!My machine is AWA DVD Recorder + VCR Model W1090.

I think he means dvd recorder , you can buy them as cheap as 60 pounds, and as he said you can connect these together with scart leads if you want, press play on the vhs and [using the av channel on the dvd recorder], then just record.hope this helps
