Converting .png file to a .jpeg file?

i have these really cool desktop wallpapers, but i realized that my computer only uses .jpeg images as desktop wallpaper and not .png, so how do i convert those into .jpeg, or can't i?

  2. PhotoShop can do this better, know your viewing screen resolution in put this on image size.

    Example : RIght click on your desktop, go to display properties then settings if you see 1024 x 768 pxls then this is your screen size.

    Upon opening PSD, click on new set this given data. open .png file, then drag and drop image. Adjust image well and merge all objects by pressing keys Ctrl + E on layers panel.

    Then save file to .jpg format. This is it.

  3. right click> open with paint. Then just re-save it as whatever file extension you want, good luck!
