Converting to plain text.

Question

I have been trying to send my resume to HR departments and to some friends but the microsoft works program i have they are unable to open it and the online HR websites will only accept microsoft word or plain text. I don't know how to convert it, i would like to do it as soon as possible, any help would appreciated. Thanks!

if you email me the file I can convert or you can open word or what ever application you are using. Go to file > Save as then select a standard format like Word .doc or Rich Text file .rtf

Microsoft Works can save your resume as plain text or RTF (Rich Text Format). Either can be read by virtually any word processor. Just load your resume, select "Save As..." and select the save format desired from the dialog box.
