Converting video files

Question

Hello all,I tried to convert some video files and I was able to convert in .amv format, but my player doesn't recognize these files. My player is able to see only .mtv files - like the sample file provided with the player.Can you recommend me some converters that can convert to .mtv format files?I found some alternative convertors that may work but I am not sure what are the parameters of supported .mtv video format. Any idea please?
