Converting video to mp3 playable???? Help?

Question

i got a mp 3 player i need to conver the video but after i converted it it said mtv file. I dragged it to the synchronize place on wmp windows media player and u cant why. I got the cd with the mp3 player. I tried to call but they said i needed to be 18 or older but im not. My parents dont speak inglesh. Igot the videos ont to mtv videos or something like that but it said windows media player cannot play that because it doesnt support it why.
