Conveting SLR lenses to Canon Digital

I have a Canon EOS 500 approx 11 years old.
I have a 75-300mm EF Zoom Lens (1.5m/4.9ft) and also a 35-80mm (0.4m/1.3ft)
I am wanting to buy a new Canon Digital camera that will be compatable with these lenses.
Can you advise me what would be suitable on the market today for these lenses.
