Convince My Parents to Let Me Have A myspace?

I already have a myspace, same with my sister and we have been hiding them for over 7 months. I'm fine with that, but I am just sick of hiding it. It's not like I'm a bad kid. I have never gotten a B in my life. Ha. Well, My parents told me I could have one, but then an hour later they said no. That was months ago. I haven't brought it up again. I have a facebook and my parents don't care. Facebook is just like myspace. What do I say to my parents to convince them? Maybe it could be an early Christmas present?

If you say myspace is terrible, I will definitely not pick you for the best answer.

I only accept friend requests from people I know.

What would my parents do if i just told them?

Mine is private and only viewable by friends

I have also have my last name changed to something totally random.

I'm a Librarian (that has a myspace page) and I introduce adults to it to educate them. If there is a library in your area doing this, consider suggesting to your mom or parents that they attend and if they do this and change their minds, I would suggest not making it private so they feel they can have access to look at your page if they choose. Odds are they make look at it one time a month at most and get bored with it until they just stop looking.

myspace can be fun but..

its safe if u use it to messsage friends u know well.

but it is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS
