Convince teacher to let me retake test?

Hello.

Im a 21 year old college student. I had to take a test last friday, which determined if I get enough credits to continue with the course or if I'll get negative advice and realize I wasted 3 years

I did horrible on the test, partly because I was nervous as h**l. I really do not want to fail this course ...

So I was wondering.. if I tell the teacher I was feeling sick during the test and if its possible to give me another chance.. will it work ?

in college, it honestly depends on the teacher, and how good of a student you were. just saying you were sick alone may not do it. say you were sick and nervous and maybe even throw in that your aunt died and you had just found out that morning.
