Question

So, Im thinking of doing one of these "home show businesses". I think it will be fun, and I am having a baby soon, and NEED the extra income. Im looking to make at least 200 dollars a week. I live in the Tampa bay area, and I am willing to drive about an hour away from here. Any suggestions or tips? What home show businesses make the most money...it dosnt have to be one of the two I mentioned.

Also, Im working on a marketing degree, and my husband is military so I am hoping to get a lot of military wives.

I am an Advisor with lia sophia. I LOVE my job (if that’s what you want to call it, haha!) There are several things you want to look for while looking into a direct sales business. I'll give you a few things that I considered while thinking about joining lia sophia. You need to determine up front, or kit costs if any. Are you willing to invest anything to start a direct sales business? Do you want something where customers can order from a catalog, and what you carry and display is your personal things and where you don’t have to carry any inventory to sell off your table or do you want to invest in something where you carry inventory and sell what you have? Also do you want to join in a company that you believe in 110% and can stand behind them? Do you want to be with a company that backs up their products, someone that maybe guarantees their products or that’s going to leave their customers high and dry if they aren’t satisfied with something? Also research into the quality of the product you are considering in selling as well as how long the company has been around for because you need to believe in whatever you end up doing or you won’t love it. Do they offer training and support or do they send you on your way once you join? If you want management is this pyramid or can you go above your manager or up line? What type of hostess benefits do they offer? What type or incentives do they offer you as an Advisor? Are there any sales requirements to remain active? There are TONS of things you want to consider!
