Cookie recipe shortening?

i've heard u can substitute shortening with butter or vegetable oil or something like that. but in this recipe i want to try it says

-115gs butter

-100gs shortening.

it already has butter listed as one of the ingredients can i still substitute the shortening with butter??

Just use all butter but not oil.

yes you can and it is better to use butter rather then shortening
