  1. Pick one from Mrs Clause cookbook:

I have made most of these and they are excellent, my grandchildren and husband scarfed up on them so fast they didn't even leave crumbs on the plate for Santa!!

  2. Cake Mix Cookies (Okay for Diabetics too.)

1 (18 oz.) packaged cake mix

1 large egg or egg substitute equivalent

4 oz. cool whip fat free (half of the 8 oz. container)

    1 C chopped pecans (optional)

    1/2 C sifted powdered sugar

    -----

Chocolate oatmeal drop cookies (kinda of like a peanutbutter and oatmeal chocolate bar)

    2 C sugar

    2 1/2 C oats (quick cook)

    4 t cocoa

    Pinch salt

    Stick of butter

    1/2 C peanut butter

    1 t vanilla

    1/2 C milk

Mix all ingredients EXCEPT for the oats in a large pot, bring to rapid boil. Remove from heat immediately. Stir in oats. Spoon onto wax paper, let cool.

    1 tsp baking soda

    ¼ tsp salt

    ¼ cup sugar

    2 tsp ground cinnamon

    1. Heat oven to 400ºF.

    2. Mix 1½ cups sugar, the butter, shortening and eggs in large bowl. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.

    3. Shape dough into 1¼" balls. Mix ¼ cup sugar and the cinnamon. Roll balls in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

    4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
