Cooking Butternut squash and Zucchini together?

Question

I was thinking of cubing up butternut squash and zucchini seasoning it mixing it together and baking in the oven. Would that be good? Or no? Anyone have a good idea with eating those two together?

One of my favs is to slice yellow squash lay them on a cookie sheet spray them with some spray butter and sprinkle some parmisian cheese on them...then bake them for a few till the cheese starts to just turn brown  YUMMO!!!!

Cut the butternut squash smaller than the zucchini.  Zucchini is softer and if you start them at the same size cubes, by the time the squash is soft the zucchini will be mush.

I love butternut squash. I have normally cooked it with sweet potatoes. I think you will like that combination.

The zucchini is watery and much tender to cook with butternut squash. I would suggest that you bake the butternut squash first til it is done. Peel it off. Now try to cook them together.

I have no experience with this combination. On the surface they look so incompatible, but may be you have the real bold idea.

The butternut squash will take longer to bake.  Put the zucchini in 1/2 way through your baking.

But other than that.... if you like squash, go for it.
