Cooking classes in St.Albans, Herts

Question

I'm 15 and want to learn how to cook.

I could (?) at home, but that's pretty useless.

I live in St.Albans in Hertfordshire (UK), and wondered if anyone knew if there were any classes I could do in the area?

You know...if you really want to learn..get a job at a local Restaurant.

They'll probably make you wash dishes at first, but eventually you will learn to prep and then cook food.  I started out as a dishwasher at 16 in a Chinese Restaurant (pretty scary, had to kill and dress live squab...that's baby pigeons if you didn't know).

Also, they're are lots of videos out there too.

The Number One most important thing to learn is proper use of knives.
