I am 13, nothing like meat, and we dont have very many ingrediants. we dont really have spices or lemon juice either, I dont want to make just plain spaghetti because I do that a lot, and not ziti because I cooked that last week (i cook once a week for them) Please be detailed for exactly what I should cook them.

  1. How about some good ol' rice and beans - and maybe a simple salad, or some green veggie?

All you need is:  one or two cans of beans (black, pinto, or even a mix)

rice and water to cook it in

lettuce, tomato, onions, etc - or broccoli, spinach, etc

You'll have a healthy, easy, low cost dinner

  2. What a great kid you are. Hope your parents appreciate you.  Sounds good to me!

  3. Try a cold pasta recipe. If you have some frozen veggies, through them in, or cheese, or italian dressing. try to mix and max. I like italian dressing and mayo with some frozen veggies. Delicious!

  4. Well you're kinda limiting us on suggestions here because you said you don't have very many ingredients.

What are some things you have in the house then?  I'll check back and edit my answer.

You could always cook breakfast for dinner:

    eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, etc.

or tuna sandwiches and tomato soup (like Campbell's)

    EDIT:

Your pasta dish sounds good, put pour some milk and a beaten egg on the noodles so they don't dry out in the oven

  5. here is a sight with over a 1000 simple things to cook

  6. no meat? lol thats a tough one...i would try rachel ray's website if i were you. she has recipes that use very few ingredients and are very simple to make in like 20 minutes. you could make some sort of pasta salad or vegetarian casserole.

  7. just add cheese and hot dog sausages and some sort of cheese sauce thing like carbonara, really really cheap and u just bung it in, i love it.

  8. You need to tell us what ingredients you DO have first.  My first thought was spaghetti for a teenager to fix.  Maybe a breakfast-for-dinner?  Eggs, sausage, stuff like that?

How about a potato soup?  Cut up 3-4 good-sized taters, cover with water and simmer until tender.  Drain and set aside.

In your soup pot, melt 1 tablespoon butter.  Add flour and cook over medium high heat for a minute.  Add 1 cup of milk, cook until bubbly and thickened.  Add potatoes and 1 cup of chicken broth (1 cup of water and a bouillon cube if no broth).  Mash the potatoes a little with a masher or against the side of the pot with a big wooden spoon.

Add some herbs like parsley or dill (fresh or dry), simmer until the consistency you like.  Serve with cheese, bacon bits, etc.  YUM.  Trust me, this one is an easy recipe, but I always get rave reviews when I feed it to people.

  9. make a fancy pasta with alfredo sauce

  10. maybe macoroni and cheese

  11. Nuke a spud.

    Top with what you like

  12. Well, it depends what you have available to you. I say experiment with this you have in the kitchen. Okay, thanks for the update...lets see...

Well sound like you can make a salad, add some tomatoes and onion slices. You can make a baked potato easily in the Microwave, just stab it a few times for about 6 minutes or so. Add some tops, whatever really.

Or, cut up potatoes, microwave till then are soft when if you have some oil you can light brown them with some onions and add some eggs to it, cut up some tomato wedges. Hmmm, what else...I like your pasta idea, with a side salad?
