Cooking oil for fuel?

I've seen it done.  One of my buddies from Purdue converted and old diesel car to run on it.  They actually use the left over cooking oil from like restaurants and stuff.  So it is used cooking oil and not fresh cooking oil.  

And I know some guy took a Chevy truck clear across the country on it.  It was documented by GM I think.

They say the best cooking oil to use is used cooking oil so if can get resturants to give you their old cooking oil that will work.

Well, I saw the guys from Mythbusters try it out, and it did work but have you seen how expensive cooking oil is lately. We might as well just stick with the real stuff for now. But if you really want to conserve save a day where you can go run all your errands at once so you dont have to drive everyday
