  1. YUM!!! I love quiche!!! I put a toothpick in the center of the quiche, and if it comes out clean, then it is done!

Edit: oops. Thats what the girl ahead of me said XD

  2. I usually put my finger into the middle and if it feels hot all the way through its done, and yes you can open up the oven without it sinking.

  3. take a toothpick or baking straw and put it in the center, it is done when nothing sticks to it.

  4. I stick a butter knife into the middle and keep it there a few seconds pull it out and it is clean the quiche is set.  You can pull it out if you need to or pull the oven rack out to a comfortable distance so you do not have your arm in the oven

  5. I don't stick my finger in food that other people are going to eat, OR food that is hot from the oven!

To test a quiche to see if it's set, open the oven and shake the quiche - if it is solid without a pool of uncooked filling in the center, it is done.

You can also stick a sharp knife blade into the center of the filling and if it comes out clean, the quiche is baked through.
