What are Alastair Cook’s feelings on captaining England so far in their tour of Bangladesh, and heading into the Test series?

He’s quoted on the ECB website as saying “I’ve enjoyed the extra responsibility and I’ve been very pleased with how I’ve handled it as well.”

“A bit like the one-dayers, there is the same feeling of nerves but there is also pride that not many people have done what I’m about to do.

“For me it’s a huge challenge as captain. I feel ready. I’m genuinely excited and I feel a bit more settled in the role now,” Cook said.
