Cool Electricty or Magnetism experiments/projects for the 6th grade Science Fair?

Hi, I have a 6th grade science fair coming up, and I'm doing it with my friend. We still need a project!!! We've been researching like heck but can't find like anything. It's due April 1st tooo!!! Please help!! Any ideas will be appreciated! Must be electricty or magnetism! THANKS A BUNCH!

  1. Build a coil gun!

    You just need a cylinder-shaped magnet, a tube that the magnet fits in loosely, and some thin coated wire.

    Wrap the tube with many turns of the thin wire.  Place the magnet inside the tube and touch the ends of the wire to a battery.  The magnet shoots out of the tube.  For an experiment, see how more turns of wire change the distance you can shoot the magnet.
