Cool Rhythm expected to shine in Download Epsom´s Android Or iPhone App Now Claiming Stakes
Cool Rhythm has got a great chance of winning the Download Epsom´s Android Or iPhone App Now Claiming Stakes at Epsom in England on Thursday, July 19, 2012. The class-5 winner will be awarded a cash prize of £2,588 in the end.
The going will be good to soft in the 7 furlong event, which is scheduled to start at 18:40 GMT, and a total of eight runners will be competing for glory. However, the track conditions will be ideal for Cool Rhythm, who has got an impressive record. He will
definitely get the attention of the punters today.
The four-year-old gelding has participated in six events until now, but does not have a good winning percentage, as he has been victorious just once. He has also finished runner up on the same number of times whereas secured the third spot on three occasions.
Iceman’s son out of With Music In Mind made his debut in September 2011 and took part in four events that year. His performances in them were pretty much impressive, but he failed to finish on top in any of them.
In his first ever outing, the Ralph Beckett’s trainee was rated as the joint favourite to win, but he fell short by just a head distance in the end. He gave a tough time to his main rival, Surely This Time, but narrowly missed out.
Afterwards, the young gelding went onto score three back to back third place finishes, proving that he was quite capable of challenging the best in the business. He ended the 2011 season on a high, but his team would have been a touch disappointed due to
the lack of victory.
However, Cool Rhythm finally made his trainer proud, winning his first race of the ongoing season. He was given a general starting price of 4 to 1 back then and was up against some excellent runners. Despite that, he caused an upset and gained an advantage
of three quarters before crossing the finish line.
Despite that good run, the promising runner failed to keep the momentum going and finished 13th in his most recent race. He is still expected to bounce back strongly under jockey, Martin Lane.
