  1. Unless your standing around the mountain cafe, I'm guessing you'd want something that actually works too? Look for 10K breathability and waterproofing, then look at how "cool" the jacket looks. Often how "cool" the jacket looks has much to do with the rider. Renee Renee rocks fluro ski suits and now he's got a signature pant with DC. Look past Burton.

    Sessions

    Volcom

    DC

    540s

    Just to name a few

  2. Some good makes are Special Blend, Foursquare, Bonfire, Westbeach, Analog, Burton, Quiksilver, Sessions, Helly Hansen, Volcom, Grenade. All theses brands make good quality products, but some are better value for money that others as alot of snowboard outerwear is overpriced to be honest. Good luck with the riding

  3. Special blend ( mostly baggy stuff, but still hella sick)

    grenade ( tight in general)

sessions ( kind of a skater look to it)

    burton (most of it)

planet earth ( kind of conservative)

  4. o'neill also makes snowboarding outerwear

    Tommy Czeschin wears their stuff.

  5. burton

  6. Tech Nine

    oakly

    DC

    Special Blend

    686

    Quicksilver

    Four Square

Nike ( they are diving into the sport this year)

    Grenade

    rosignol

    K2

    Burton

    Analog

Ronin  <----- they make some crazy gear ( also owned by burton)

    Forum

    Volcom

    North Face

    Colombia

  7. Grenade

    Holden

    DC

    Volcom

    L1

    Special Blend

    Four Square

    Sessions

    Technine

    Bonfire

    686

    Analog

    Quiksilver

Billabong also makes jackets, but I haven't seen much.

You could just go with a Columbia or North Face, but I think North Face is overpriced.

  8. I have tried on a lot of the other brands mentioned above but ended up getting a Burton one in the end. Yeah it cost heaps but i don't have any regrets and has great features as well as great looks. My boy has a Special Blend one and thats not too bad either. But def. check out the Burton website as it has some nice styles.

If you want something budget, then don't go Burton. (Unless you can find something out of season and on sale) Best bet is to goto a store and try some different styles on as they often has different fits across the brands. Plus, everyone has their own style, so its best to look across the board anyhow!

    Cheers! Have fun shopping!
