me and a friend are modifying our cars to make them less average. these being both our first cars we are not abundant on funds , aside from like a spoiler or painting what are some projects we could do to either the inside or outside for under $100 a peice his car is a 1993 lebaron and mine is a 1999 toyota camry . Despite what you might think they both have alot to work with but i just need some cheaper ideas

  2. join a forum for modding your cars, or a local club, you can often find guys selling mod parts for cheap.

anti roll bars are cheap, and make your car handle betting in corners... reducing body roll, and you can do it yourself, as long as you have a suitable jack and jack-stands for safety.

You should be able to find an exhaust muffler, that might make your car sound a little better, and breathe a little easier, for 1 or 2 more HP power.

You should be able to locate a cold air intake... again helping car breathe a little easier, and maybe a couple of HP power increase.

Don't get one of those exhausts that sounds like someone farting down a drain-pipe though. Try to read some reviews first before you stick it on your car.

Look for a light weight pulley... it goes on the front of the engine... gives you a couple of HP increase...

Might be a little expensive to buy the pulley though... often around a bout $100

To reduce weight... get all the jusnk out of the car that you don't need. More weight = slower car.

You could remove the floor mats, and carpet and wood/plastic from the trunk.

To go a bit more extreme, remove the spare wheel and jack, and carry a can of fix-a-flat instead, and get AAA just in case.

You should be able to do all the above mods yourself...

One of best mods you can do on your car... is better, more grippy sports tires, but they are not so cheap.... start saving.

Following that.... some more sporty suspension... but again not so cheap

    have fun, be safe.

Look out for local Autocross club... you can have fun with car in a safe environment there
