I am repainting my bedroom and i can basically do whatever i want (within reason) and i only came up with two things. #1) to paint the walls a blue with pink yellow and green circles over it and #2) Paint each wall (i have four walls) a different color. I just really want something that is awesome and amazing. any ideas?

  1. I like turtles

  2. to tell you the truth, pick the bedspread first, lets say you paint the walls and then find this amazing bedspread that you love, but it does not match your walls. That happed to me and now my parents wont let me reapaint it another color.

P.S- i like the polka dot idea

  3. Paint it white with neon paint circles or paint splashes!

  4. a different optical illusion on each wall. That used to be my dream. On the ceiling I wanted to have that swirlly illusion or whatever it's called. I would never fall asleep lol.

  5. When I moved into my current house, the girl who had my room before me had painted two of the walls light blue, with white clouds, and the other two dark blue with yellow stars. She had just made little puffy clouds (not overly artistic), and for the stars, she had stensils of different sizes, and she traced those.

Everyone who comes in my room now loves it

  6. ima guy so i might not have the best answer but i got my room painted to where there were squares coverering the walls kinda in a tile pattern.. but they were painted different colors so like a row would go purple, blue, purple, blue.. and so on.. then they painted a circle in each square and it was the opposite color of the square (purple square= blue circle). they also made glossy and matte colors.. like all this is in a pattern so glossy purple square, matte blue circle, then  a matte blue square and a glossy circle next.. and so on. sorry its kinda confusing writing it when i cant show you.

  7. well my sister recently redid her room and its blue with zebra pattern on the back wall or you could paint your room a pinky red and on one wall gold flowers or just paint your room one solid colour and there is specila paint you but and you put it over the solid color and when you turn out your lights thr room will glow or dont cover the whole room in it just have a little paint brush so when your friends come over thay can write on your wall and when you turn the light out you can see your friends drwaing and whatever they said and you turn the lights back on and you cant see it !!! or youy could put christmas lights along the top of the walls try some stuff like that or go to the ikea website for some kool ideas !!! Well Good LUck

Also its good to pick your all time favorite comfiter first and take colors out of that

  8. Use the sponge technique to add depth (using two different shades of the same color).

  9. Cool. better to paint only selected colours to walls, and apply them all walls, do not make with so many colours bedroom, basically light colours are so much good at bedroom, think colours are not suggested. As per vastu shastra also, we have to apply light colours to bed room.

  10. i would the wall colours of something you like e.g football team, band, etc.

  11. When I was younger I had such a cool bedroom, it was painted white all over, and on two opposite walls it had ten-inch think pink stripes from floor to ceiling, and on the other two walls the stripes were blue. I had a big modern silver mirror over my mantelpiece with fairylights trailed over it. I know it sounds a bit childish but it was really cool.

You could do that, choose nice colours and drape fairylights everywhere. Fairylights round a mirror is great but they're quite hard to get except at Christmas.

If not fairylights, you could buy one of those really cool heatlamps, I'm not sure if that's what they're called. Have mirrors in your room, as it'll make it look alot bigger.  In my old room (the one with the fairylights!) I had a big standing mirror in one corner with all my scarves and hair/Alice bands resting on top.

Remember, it's nice to have walls a good colour, but what really makes a well-decorated room is what you put in it. Have you already got furniture? If not, choose things that will go together to create the effect you're looking for. If you have got furniture, ask your parents if you can paint them/write on them. If you can't you can still put cool things on top of them; flowers, (fake or real), photo frames, little ornaments (best thing is to buy these on holiday from souvenir shops), old books, cuddly toys scattered around, whatever other little objects will brighten it up. Good luck whatever you end up doing!

  12. ohhmygoshhh. paint it white or like a neutral color or something and then in briiight neon colors..SPLATTER PAINT!
