  1. Just go out and get a Triumph daytona 675 or a Honda cbr 600rr, make sure you take a safety riding class!!!!!! Trust me these bikes are awesome!

  5. honda xr/crf 50! im 14 and those things are small, but they still are awesome! 50's r the best!

  6. IN most states you are not old enough  to ride on street. and there should not be any a 15 year old could ride legally

  7. lol ur uncle rides a 85 and a r1.. quite the jump

  8. At 16 just worry about how cool you feel! You got a Bike!

  9. Depends on what you're looking for I guess.  I started with a basic honda endure from the early 70's as my first bike.  175cc bike that was dirt cheap to buy/operate/insure.  I learned a lot with it... but I sure didn't pick up many women on it-- and unless she would've weighed 80 pounds I probably couldn't taken a girl anyways (suspension wasn't the greatest on those old enduros).

If you're looking for a somewhat sporty bike that would be inexpensive I think the suzuki gs500e (the first year looked the best-- I think it wsa 1989)  is probably the best fit.  It's got power... but it's also very forgiving.  Also, it's not considered a sport bike so insurance is very cheap.  Another bike in this category is the Honda VTR250.  Nice little sporty bikes that are good for beginners.

If you start getting into the CBR, GSXR's and other 600-1000cc sport bikes (or larger) you'll be very high risk on insurance.  It won't be cheap at all... and they really aren't good for beginners.  Good luck taking your test on a large sport bike too!

Probably the best all around bike... and what I still ride (had mine for 10 years now)... for a beginner is the yamaha tw200.  It's a street legal trail bike.  200cc... tops out right around 70... but they are an absolute blast if you have a place to ride off the road.  Great beginners bike... but beyond that super fun, super cheap to insure/operate, and still good enough looking to not look like a total idiot.

Take a safety course though!  That's the most important!

  10. the illest bike out is the diamond back brand bike, its all me and my friends get and we're into BMX. awesome selection

  11. Honda Rebel!

  12. huffy. shocks. pegs. lucky!!!

  13. suzuki sv650 or kawasaki 250r

  14. In most states you are limited to 250cc or smaller engine.

I'm a cruiser kind of guy so I'd point you to the Kymco 250 Venox.
