Cool place to stay in Brisbane?

Question

I've been to Perth, Sydney and Melbourne but have never been to Brisbane. One of my friends went and said in her opinion it is the most beautiful place in Australia. Anybody know any good resorts to stay at?

hmmm thats a hard one, there are plenty of amazing resorts along the coast, the gold and sunshine coasts, however Im not sure that there are any good ones in the city, except nice hotels, but those arnt really resorts are they. Have a good look at some of the resorts on the coasts, they are where the best bits of the Brisbane countryside are.
