Cool places to visit in Canada?

I'm headed to Niagara Falls for 2 weeks this summer so I'll have plenty of time to explore areas around there..i.e day trips and things like that. Any cool places close enough to drive out and spend the day?

im not sure but next yr im going to skii in canida so wheres the best skii slopes?

Niagara on the Lake is close by so make sure you do a day trip there.  Visit Port Dalhousie which is near St. Catharines - it has an old carousel that is neat to ride, and you can walk along the watefront, see where the Henley rowing regatta is held, walk through the park, etc.  Try to get somewhere to see one of the huge lake boats going through a lock - that is quite something to see.  Drive up on the Niagara Escarpment for the view.  There is a beautiful park area called Balls Falls - well worth a visit.  If you have time, plan a trip to Toronto - if you are operating out of Niagara Falls and driving, plan on about three days for that trip to include enough time for driving and the sightseeing.  In Toronto visit Kensington Market, the St. Lawrence Market,  the Distillery District, the CN Tower, and China town.  Have fun!
