Cool ways to put up rope lights in a bedroom??

Question

i want to put a string of rope lights in my room but i don't know how... i could just do it the boring way and put it around the ceiling but i wanted something creative... can you help me?

in several areas of our home, i have a flower/leaf swag on a top shelf or over a window curtain with changeable lights in the Christmas string-of- lights.  the living room has yellow in the summer and pink in the winter.  the bedroom has light green, then purple.  its a nice way to change the 'mood' and cast a cozy look without getting tired of the same-old.  the lights are at your local hobby store at Christmastime only.  well, actually they started Christmas stuff in June this year!  ha

make a sketch of a simple flower with a pencil and trace it with the lights! you can also do swirls and stuff....awesome project

i once saw a huge clear cylinder vase with the rope lights coiled inside. it looked awesome.
