Most awesome is the Michigan Wolverines. WOLVERINES!

Lamest - Up until now, I thought it was the Buckeyes, but the Illini take the cake on this.

Worst.  Tennessee, can't exactly tell what their mascot is:  Smoky the Dog? Davy Crockett, Big Orange? What's a "Vol"?

The University of Wyoming's "Cowboy Joe" is awesome. That Orange or whatever it is from Syracuse one of the worst. Anything from BYU or that Herbie Husker guys are both bad too.

Lamest has to go to either the buckeyes or the orangemen. Best = Bulldogs (BEST BREED OF DOG!!!). Even though I am a not a UGA fan, I can't help but smile every time I see Uga VII.

If were talking nicknames (and not actual on field mascots), there are some great ones in less popular conferences like the Big West. Long Beach State's baseball team actually goes by "Dirt Bags", which is my favorite.

For on field mascot....I'd say my favorite has to be UGA. He is real, and actually bites opposing team players!
