Coolykereen Hi likely to thrive in Hounds Challenge
Coolykereen Hi is having immense potential that will help him clinch top spot in the Britannia Rescue Breakdown Hot Hounds Challenge at Oxford racecourse on Thursday night, May 24.
The B. Black-trained blue dog will definitely capitalise on the form produced by his recent epic feats, beating his rivals including Rio Torino, Evo Alexander, Smart Bid, Castlebride Dan and Foxy Red.
The Open Race over a distance of 450 metres will commence at 21:35 (GMT). The prize purse contains £150. The dashing dog will break from Trap 5.
The three-year-old veteran hound has been winning with regular intervals since the very beginning of the calendar year. After bagging three classic victories in February, the talented sprinter won two big races in the month of March.
The brilliant runner elegantly accomplished a magnificent triumph on April 5. Following a runner-up rank, the maverick son of Ace Hi Rumble out of Moses Bridge finished first by the big margin of 7 ¼ lengths in his second last outing on May 12.
Thus, Coolykereen Hi looks to be a perfect contender for victory from all aspects. The only thing he needs to do is maintaining his pace from beginning to the end of the race. He will have up to 92 percent chances to finish first.
However, Rio Torino can trigger an upset in the race. The D. Riordan-trained black dog’s career is marked with fabulous success streaks. Since debuting in January 2012, the novice runner has excellently achieved 9 marvellous triumphs so far.
Thus, this hound can easily impede Coolykereen Hi and there is likely to be a fierce battle between the duo.
Smart Bid will also struggle hard for success. The trainee of C. Allsopp excellently gained two consecutive conquests in April 2012. He moved on to finish first in his last start on May 17. Overall, the dashing dog has been a consistent performer.
Keeping in view this analysis, it is assumed that there will be a rip-roaring clash for the Hounds Challenge title. The event will have many twists. Let us go for the fantastic action. Good luck to Coolykereen Hi.
