The second half kicked off with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paraguay-c2979 looking to break on the Brazilians and in the 55th minute, their efforts resulted in an equalising goal. Estigarribia went on to sprint down the left, before laying off a ball to Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz
then went on to stroke the ball into the back of the net and in doing so, helped tie up the score at 1-1.
In the 67th minute, Alves managed to get to a long ball from the Paraguayans. However, he failed to clear the ball and Riveros went on to win the ball off the defender. He then went on to pass the ball to Santa Cruz, who played Haedo Valdez on.
Valdez then took a pop at goal only to see the ball come back off of Cesar. Luckily for the Paraguayans, the ball managed to bounce of Valdez’s chest and into the back of the net. Due to that stroke of luck, Brazil were now trailing Paraguay by 1-2.
As the match progressed, Brazil tried to apply the pressure on Paraguay, who seemed to be more than happy to just defend their lead. The Brazilians went on to create a number of chances, only to see Paraguay control the game for the most part. In fact, in
the 83rd minute had a pass not been over hit, Caceres could have given the Paraguayans the win in the game.
The match then dragged into the 89th minute with Brazil still trailing. However Lucas played in a pass to Ganzo, who flicked the ball through to Fred. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fred-c14136 then let the ball roll across his body, before he went on to rifle the ball into the bottom
of the net.
Due to that moment of magic, the forward helped the Brazilians resuce a point in the game, as the match ended with both teams level at two goals apiece
