Following a great display from both http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 and Paraguay in the first half, the two teams went into the second half, looking to get the better of their opponents.
In the 49th minute, Neymar took a pop at goal from the edge of the area. Despite his effort beating the keeper, it was then blocked off the line by Torres.
In the 55th minute, it was http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Neymar-c27639 once again. The forward cut in from the flank and went on to dodge a couple of challenges. He then rifled and effort, which swerved wide of the mark.
In the 62nd minute, Ganso broke forward and played http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Maicon-c23157 a delicate through ball. The full-back then found Robinho, whose effort at goal went wide.
In the 73rd minute of the game, a free-kick taken by Neymar dropped in the Paraguay area. It then fell to Pato, who took a touch on the ball, before smacking it towards the goal. However, Villar was up to the challenge as he dove to his side and
blocked the effort from a mere five yards out.
In the 82nd minute, Brazil had the best chance of the game, to one up. Robinho went on to slide a ball towards Pato. The strikers initial effort was denied by Villar, but resulted in the ball looping up in the air. Pato then had the opportunity
to head the ball into the back of the net, only for him to find the side netting instead.

As a result, both teams saw the score card read nil all at the end of the ninety and this saw the game head into extra time.
