The second half kicked off with both teams looking to get the better of their opponents and to secure a spot into the semi-finals.
 In the 50th minute, Chiroque went on to smash a long range effort towards the goal, however http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Martinez-c24468 managed to get a decent hand on the ball and tipped it behind for a corner.
Just a minute later, Guarin started to up his game. The attacker went on to beat two players, before pulling a ball back to Falcao. Unfortunately, his pass couldn’t reach the striker in time and was cleared.
In the 63rd minute, the Colombian http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Skills-c40539, as he played on a brilliant ball over the top for Moreno. The forward went on to control the ball brilliantly as he created space for a shot. He then went on to unleash
a telling effort, however there was too much power on the shot, as it sailed wide over the bar.
In the 65th minute, Moreno once again displayed brilliant control to reach onto a long ball. This time around the striker was taken out by Rodriguez and a penalty was awarded to Colombia.
Falcao stepped up to take the resulting kick, but inexplicably the forward sent his effort well wide of the mark.
In the 68th minute, Moreno once again used his pace to get forward. He then went on to smack an effort goal wards, which bounced off the near post this time around.
In the 81st minute, Balbin went on to smack a thirty yard effort towards Martinez. However, the keeper managed to dive in time to flick the ball behind for a corner.
In injury time, Guarin once again displayed his class, as he skipped past a number of defenders to create space in the Peru area. He then went on to blast an effort towards the goal. The keeper managed to get his fingertips to the ball, as he sent it crashing
off the woodwork.
Soon after the second half came to an end, with the scores level at nil all and with both teams now heading into extra time.
