Copa Del Rey: Sevilla vs. Malaga – First Half Report (Part 2)

Malaga did not want to “defend only” while being away from home. With a goal down, they moved up to score one too and they eventually did find the back of the net with the help of their striker Jose Salomon Rondon. He looked to
be in extraordinary form during the first half as he was present in almost all the positive moves that were made by his side. During the 19th minute, Malaga’s sensational goal scorer passed two Sevilla defenders and shot the ball into the net to
put the teams on level terms.
The game was definitely not over for both the sides as they continued to fight on. The home team tried to take advantage of their home ground, but Malaga were the side who capitalized again during the 26th minute as
Rondon scored another cracker to put the visitors in front. It was definitely looking to be his night as the Malaga striker ran past the offside trap perfectly, found the ball at his feet and shot the ball into the back of the net.

The first half ended with Sevilla losing 2-3 to an unexpected Malaga side. However, if the game is to remain at this level, more goals are definitely expected in the second half.
