With Sevilla taking charge after the inclusion of their captain Kanoute, Malaga decided to change their holding midfielder Recio with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manu-Torres-c23378. Malaga just wanted to kill the game off with their attacking approach but sadly for them, Sevilla had other
plans. While playing their quick passing game, Romaric was able to find a brace with the help of Alfaro. The midfielder passed the ball wonderfully towards Romaric who found himself right in front of goal. He barely had to do much as he tapped the ball in
the goal as it crossed the goal line and Sevilla started to celebrate their fourth goal as another high scoring game went on in Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Even though Sevilla were now totally dominating the game, they did not try to keep the ball to themselves in order to waste time. They were simply not through as they constructed another beautiful attack during the 82nd minute. It was Sevilla’s
captain Kanoute who initiated the move again and gave a wonderful through ball towards Romaric. The two time goal scorer in this game gave the ball back towards Kanoute who gave a wonderful one-touch to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-Capel-c11100. The left winger wasted no time inside the
penalty area and shot the ball into the net to make the score line 5-3 for the home side.
With the score line reaching 8 in total, and the referee’s watch displayed the 82nd minute ticking away. It looked as if Malaga were going to lose the game. However, they still did not lose hope and kept on breaching Sevilla’s defensive walls,
which looked to be better during the second half as they started dominating more and helped in scoring 3 goals to put the game to their advantage.
For eight minutes, Sevilla held onto their lead to keep their two goal advantage intact. Nine of their players went behind the ball in order to contain possession in their half and also in order to put Malaga’s attackers out of place. Sevilla totally dominated
the second half as they came behind from being a goal down to being 2 goals up.
The second half ended with Sevilla winning the game 5-3. In a surprising turn of events during the second half, the mid table side were able to beat the high flying Malaga. Even though Malaga were the ones who were in charge of the game after the first half
and led the score with a single goal, they just couldn’t keep their lead as Sevilla totally tarnished their hopes of going into the next round after beating them 5-3 on their home ground Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
