Rayo Vallecano were bundled out of the competition as well, 1-0 on aggregate, following their goalless draw at home in the second leg. Vallecano’s goalkeeper Ruben was sent off in the match and that effectively ended their hopes and chances to ensure progression
to the next round of the competition.
