Copeland Robbie set to sway things in his favour - Coral Romford Standard Preview
Copeland Robbie is expected to bag the winning cheque in the Coral Romford Standard, scheduled to take place at Romford on Friday, May 11, 2012.
The blue dog has the highest chance of winning tonight, but it is going to be a tricky contest for him. Both Trevi You Go and Big Local are well capable of raising their game at any moment. Therefore, Copeland Robbie needs to
come up with a special effort in a bid to taste success tonight.
The 400 metres Flat heat is scheduled to begin at 22:26 GMT. In search of a cash prize worth £175, six fast and furious hounds are all set to show their talent. Their names are: Copeland Robbie, Trevi You Go, Big Local, Benkaat
Boy, Mountjoy Hawk and Big Step.
Wearing red jacket, Copeland Robbie is full of spirit following three good performances lately. At the end of last month, J. A. White’s trainee returned to Romford with an outstanding result.
In a similar race, he demonstrated an excellent show despite being bumped in the early stages of the event. As a result of his fine work, the dashing hound managed to seize the top rank by 4¾ lengths. In his most recent outing,
he remained unlucky, missing the gold medal by ¾ a length.
Any inside crowding would play into Trevi You Go’s hands. The black dog was not impressive on his last visit to Romford. However, it is hard to ignore his chances, as he is coming into this battle after a win each at Hove and
Monmore.
Big Local recently showed a fair degree of early pace at Romford. At the end of last month, the black dog completed his hat-trick with a splendid win over Frisby Barney. However, he failed to continue his good form afterwards
and finished fourth last time around.
Big Step will have to brush up on his trapping skills. Benkaat Boy needs to forget his recent trouncing at Wimbledon and focus solely on today’s race.
According to our predictions, there will be a hard battle among Copeland Robbie, Trevi You Go and Big Local. Copeland Robbie seems to have a slight edge over his rivals.
