Copied data off pc want play in dvd?

Hi There, When i have copied data off my pc down to a disc ie. photo's or songs i find neather will play on my home dvd player/recorder. I have used DVD+RW and CD+RW. It comes up on the tTV as no data. If anyone as a answer or can help i would be greatful. Mark

read your dvd player manual. it will tell you what file types that are compatible with it. such as jpg, etc...
