And as someone just pointed out: Santino/Beth are like Eddie/Chyna

And was WWE trying to maek john cena into the Rock? The whole Chain gang, etc.

What other similarities can you point out?

The Brian Kendrick is actually supposed to based on Shawn Michael's and Ezekiel is the equivalent of Diesel.

wwe is i guess trying to bring back old gimmick that we love and only some up there are working.

the big show sort of remind's us of andre but still he'll never ne andre ever

The brian kendrick remind's me of both hbk and pillman but jr keeps saying he remind's him of pillman so... idk

umaga and rikishi are related so that could be why we see simlarity

and santino/beth do remind me of the eddie/chyna day's

but john doesn't remind me of the rock there personality's are very different as in there style in the ring

Big Show and Andre is a fair similarity, as is Pillman and Kendrick, and even JR has referred to that TWICE, I heard him say Loose Cannon on Friday night.

I'm not so sure about Cena being the new Rock, but there are similarities in the way they try to market him, and give him promo time where he never succeeds to be funny.
